EIKO FUJITA-SUMMERS

Whoop is an Arabic womenswear boutique, the sister shop of well established Ush store.  

The inspiration for this concept came from rich visual Dubai's heritage: The store features "pearl" lights where small bulbs are gathered in the ceiling, a colour changing mashroubiya inspired wall,  dhow hanging rails, fishing net feature displays and accessories displayed on lantern posts.  

To avoid a themed feel, the store is completely white, with just the changing rooms accenting with a flash of vivid red to catch the eye.

 

The same concept was later used in their Abu Dhabi shop in shop in House of Fraser,

World Trade Center Mall.
